Christmas was definitely fun this year. Everything, ok almost everything, is so much more fun through Maddox’s eyes. Christmas morning certainly fit into that category. Seeing my little buddy’s eyes light up when he saw all his presents was magical. Then to see him passed out clutching his new trumpet and Curious George a couple hours later was icing on the cake. Throw in a white Christmas night and it just doesn’t get much better. Don’t get me wrong, things were definitely a little chaotic celebrating with 3 kids under 3, but it sure was fun.
Maddox fully embraced the holidays and continues to sing some of his favorite Christmas songs. He seems a little extra partial to “police navidad”. Excellent. It is pretty amazing to me how many songs he actually learned well enough to sing along when he heard them on the radio. Oh and he could pretty much recite the Night Before Christmas right along with us too!
We’re in the final weeks with little Josie here. Due date is only 3 weeks away. I can’t believe it. Robyn continues to do well. Sleep is a little restless and uncomfortable, but otherwise hanging in there. Everything looks good so far. Fingers crossed that she holds out a little longer and everything goes nice and smooth. Maddox is definitely excitedly awaiting her arrival.
Our second annual trip to the Christmas Castle was a blast!
