Las Quatro Harwoods

I guess you could say it was a good day

Wow! What a day. Maddox and I headed to the park, “the one with the sandbox” this morning to hang out with all his friends and their daddies while the mommies had a baby shower for Mariah. We had a blast once he warmed up a bit. It was fun to hang out with the guys some for me too. Then off to Mundo Soccer Shop where we stumbled through Spanglish to purchase Maddox a new kit to reward him for his good night times the last week. He chose Real Madrid over Club America and Manchester United. (He liked the white one)

Back to the house, for lunch. We almost made it, but the little fella was tuckered out and ended up falling asleep before we got home. Carried him in and let him snooze on the couch while we ate some lunch.
Once he got up and fed, we all headed out to the ball park at UNCG to watch them play Appalachian. His first official baseball game. (Josie’s too, but she didn’t seem quite as interested.) We had a great time and could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Sunshine, baseball, popcorn and peanuts. Oh and an App win.
Left the game and walked down to watch the finish of the Beer Run and saw a few of our friends who had participated. Henson’s parents had raced and he was there so they kind of played for a minute or two before we stopped by Yum Yums to finish off the outing. A scoop of strawberry for each of us and we were off to the house for baseball, basketball and tennis before dinner.
Oh, and bedtime has turned a corner. We started putting Josie down at the same time, and Maddox loves it. He goes to sleep without a peep. He told Robyn as she walked out tonight, “I’ll keep an eye on her.”
Yes, you could say today was a good day.

Just because.

Too much excitement (his new kit)

Questions, questions, questions.

POPCORN!!

Cheers to the perfect day.
