Las Quatro Harwoods

Quick Rewind

Summer has gotten away from us quickly once again. The kids start school Wednesday today and Robyn and I have already been back at it for over a week. So instead of trying to cram in a poorly written post with a lot of forgotten details, I’m offering a highlight reel of sorts. Here are a few favorite moments (in a sort of backwards chronological order) from the last half of summer and a big old pile of pictures.

Watching a hurling match in Cloughjordan

Riding tiny waves on a big ol foamy in Lahinch

Cramming Maddox into his wetsuit for an Ireland surf only to realise he had put it on backwards and we had to do it again.

Finding fairies in Clifden

Josie’s ear to ear smile as we road horses along the ocean.

Randomly meeting Willie Daly the last matchmaker of Ireland

Ruby the dog at our BnB

Robyn dancing with an old Irish guy in the pub

The kids squeezing the last bits of daylight out of a NC evening so they could play just a little longer with the neighbors

Bumper cars at Carolina Beach

Catching some really nice waves with Maddox in NC

SUP days at PCB

Diving for the sandbar that was much deeper than we thought

“Air conditioner, where did you go?”

Will you please take us for a ride in the golf cart?

An evening walk to Thomas’ for some ice cream

Learning to SnapChat

“You gotta park that thing on level ground”

One Love
